Our Story

MP Hospitality was established in 2024 by Marco Peña and Rakesh Singh with a clear mission: to support hospitality businesses in finding highly skilled employees who align with their high standards and can consistently deliver outstanding guest experiences. At the same time, we are committed to helping talented professionals discover the right work environment where they can not only excel but also thrive in their careers and achieve long-term growth.

The journey so far has been incredibly rewarding and fulfilling. Marco Peña founder and entrepreneur of MP Hospitality Services. Marco was born in Washington, DC and raised in Montgomery County, Maryland. He studied International Business and public speaking at Towson University in 2007. Marco transferred to Frostburg University to pursue more studies and finish his education in 2011. He worked with multiple B2B in marketing and also worked with Darden Dimes opening up new restaurants. He worked at Olive Garden, Seasons 52, and Capital Grill during his tender with Darden Dimes. After 7 years of working with Darden Dimes he decided to relocate to Hilton Head Island, SC in 2015. After Pursuing different opportunities in management positions and communication he decided to work with SERG in the beginning of 2016. For most of society the pandemic was very tough for everyone and strict on the workforce. Marco understood that his community needed some rebuilding knowing that Hilton Head Island is known for hospitality, unique dining, and beautiful beaches. Marco decided to create opportunities within his community for jobs focusing on hospitality. His passion and devotion to help others made his goal a reality. Marco met Rakesh Singh in 2022 and knew the connection and passion Rakesh would have for a never ending partnership for the future. Marco and Rakesh officially launched MP Hospitality Services in the beginning of 2024. Growing the company and focusing on the main goal. Marco’s goal is to educate our new and future employee’s to cultural hospitality. We will impact our community with devotion and a healthier workforce

Rakesh Singh

Rakesh Singh is a hospitality professional, who completed his Hospitality management in 2011. He started his journey with Vivanta by Taj, Whitefield in India, and after that, he got an opportunity to work on a management program in Singapore. In 2013 he came to the USA and worked in different world-class hotels and restaurants in a variety of roles. After working for over 10 years in the hospitality industry in the USA, he joined hands with Marco Peña to form MP Hospitality in 2024 which focuses on providing well-trained hospitality professionals to the hotels and restaurants to provide excellent experience for the guest. MP Hospitality also provides commercial and residential housekeeping services. MP Hospitality recently added banquet and private events to their services.

Utkarsha Pokale

Relationship Manager

Utkarsha is a hospitality professional working in the industry for the last seven years. She started her career in Atlanta as a front desk associate. She graduated with a hospitality degree from India and completed her internship there. She also had an opportunity to work at Palm Springs in California as a front office lead. She worked with a few different restaurants on Hilton Head Island before joining MP Hospitality. She is our marketing head keeping us up to date with the current needs of the employees.

Mi nombre es Karina Víquez Peña. Nací el 2 de abril de 1983 en la ciudad de Heredia, Costa Rica. Crecí en un pueblo llamado San Joaquín de Flores, después de unos años tuve que mudarme a un Pueblo no muy lejos de ahí llamado San Juan de Santa Bárbara donde culminé mis estudios de primaria en la Escuela Tranquilino Sáez Rojas. Por algunas circunstancias de mi vida termine mis estudios de bachillerato en la UNED(colegio nocturno). Inicie mis estudios en derecho en la Universidad de las Ciencias y el Arte. A partir de mi llegada a este país en el año 2021 comencé a trabajar para el grupo SERG hasta el año 2024. Para febrero del 2024 empecé en MP Hospitality Services donde me dieron la gran oportunidad, para apoyar mi crecimiento personal y profesional. En esta compañía se me da la oportunidad y satisfacción de poder ayudar a personas como yo, que llegan a este país con un sueño de tener un trabajo y una estabilidad económica, para ayudar a sus familias. Me siento muy satisfecha de las cosas que he logrado hasta ahora, pero lo que más me emociona y motiva es seguir ayudando a más personas como yo, que tiene un sueño de superación
